At HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy, we prioritise providing a positive and professional experience for all clients. Before your appointment, please take a moment to review our session terms and conditions, including any relevant legal obligations. Our Conditions of Service

Keeping you informed of our policies

**Fees**: Our general fees for adult services are outlined on our website, including individual session pricing and concession pricing (proof of government concession is required for discounted rates). Child pricing applies to individuals under the age of 14. This information is also available on our website.

Payments for services can be made either as a single payment before treatment or through mutually agreed-upon regular instalments, as specified in the customised "pay by the week agreement" form. Each session can last between 30 minutes and 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on the hypnotist's session plan or discretion.

Payment must be made before the formal hypnotic treatment (in-clinic),. If payment has not been completed via our website at the time of booking, any additional session payments (if required) will be collected at the start of each session. No treatment will commence until payment for the session (or the entire bundle of sessions) has been made in full or a payment plan has been initiated.

Payment plans require a Visa or MasterCard-branded credit or debit card. As the client or the client's legal guardian, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to update any card details if there are changes during the payment plan period. Failure to update these details may result in invoice reissue fees and potentially additional charges, as specified below.

By booking a session with HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy, you agree to all of the above terms, including timely and complete payment of our listed fees. A late or missed payment will incur an $8 fee for each invoice reissue and for each invoice payment request issued (maximum of one invoice reissue per day). Additionally, you agree to pay any and all costs incurred by Brad Talbot and HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy in collecting the aforementioned service fees, which may include legal or debt collection costs and expenses.
 
**Cancellation Policy:**
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full session. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we require at least 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations prevent us from assisting others, so you will be held financially responsible for 100% of the scheduled fee if you do not show up for your appointment or if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled time.

In the event of an emergency that requires cancellation or rescheduling, please notify us as soon as possible. HDH reserves the right to reschedule an appointment, without reason, to an alternate time and date that we both agree upon. A cancelled or missed appointment will be treated as attended and completed for clients under a payment plan.

**Confidentiality Notice**
All hypnosis sessions and client information are confidential. Each hypnotherapy session is digitally recorded and documented. We will not release any recorded information to anyone without your written authorisation, except when required by state or federal law or in the case of civil legal proceedings. 

Clients may request access to the session recordings, provided that the integrity of the recordings is maintained. Please note that corrupted video or audio files may occur, which are beyond HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy's control, and may prevent a client from receiving a requested file. HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy reserves the right to provide a copy of the recording(s) within a fair and reasonable timeframe. Brad Talbot and HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy hold all copyrights for the recordings. All session recordings will be destroyed five (5) years after treatment is completed.

If you disclose that you have committed certain criminal offences, the therapist is legally obligated to report this information to the authorities. Additionally, if the therapist determines that you may pose a physical threat to yourself, themselves, or others, they are required to report this to the police or other emergency services, including ambulance services, especially if there is an acute risk of self-harm or harm to others.
 
Please note: Hypnosis is a natural and safe self-help process. The hypnotherapy services we provide are designed for educational and self-improvement purposes. These services may involve evocative communication and are not intended to diagnose any medical or psychological conditions. If you have an ongoing medical issue, mental disability, or mental illness, it is your responsibility to consult a medical doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist before attending our sessions.
 
**Physical Contact Agreement:**
During sessions, physical contact may occur in the areas of your head, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. By completing the client intake form, you consent to this type of physical contact by the therapist as part of the hypnosis process. 

Additionally, there are sexual health sessions referred to as "Non-Touch." In this context, "Non-Touch" indicates that contact will be avoided in the areas not mentioned above. To clarify, there is a strict policy against contact with any erogenous zones between the client and the hypnotist.

Redress: If you should have a complaint which we have not resolved to your satisfaction, please feel free to contact the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) t 1300 55 22 54,
www.ahahypnotherapy.org.au It is your right to refuse any aspect of our services and to seek the services of another hypnotherapist at any time.
 
**Satisfaction Guarantee**
The Satisfaction Guarantee applies to anyone who has been accepted as a client by the hypnotherapist, provided that a mutually agreed-upon goal has been established. If you are not satisfied with your progress after fulfilling a couple of simple conditions, the hypnotherapist will continue to treat you at no extra cost for as many sessions as necessary. They will keep working with you until you can sit in the clinic chair and confidently state that you no longer require their services to resolve the issue.

For standard treatments, clients will not be charged more than six sessions to address a particular issue. Many clients may only need a couple of sessions to achieve the desired results. 

To be eligible for the guarantee, you must have received and paid for at least two (2) and up to six (6) fully paid clinical sessions for your initial reason for contacting HDH. Additionally, you must complete any required homework assignments (if applicable). 

If you wish to begin working on a new issue after achieving your initial goal, the six-session guarantee will reset when you start addressing the new area of improvement.

**Two-Year Support Guarantee**
This guarantee applies to addiction-based services, including programs for stopping smoking, drinking, gambling, and other addictions, typically offered as a four-session bundle with a total cost listed on the website. The support guarantee is valid for two years from the date of your first attended session and includes as many top-up sessions as needed during that period.

Please note that sessions focused on fears or phobias, bad habits, such as nail biting, stress, depression, PTSD and anxiety are not included in the two-year support guarantee but are covered under the satisfaction guarantee.

**Release Agreement:**
I confirm that I am of legal age, and in consideration of my acceptance as a participant in hypnosis and hypnotherapy sessions, training, seminars, or any other services provided by HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy (or as a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a child receiving these services), I, along with my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release and discharge HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy, Bradley Talbot, and any other participants from all claims, damages, copyrights, demands, or actions of any kind arising from my participation.

Additionally, I understand that audio and video recordings, as well as documented notes, will be made during sessions. I acknowledge that HDH Clinical Hypnotherapy retains the copyright to these recordings.
 
By submitting the client intake form, you declare that:
(1) All information you submitted is accurate, and
(2) That you have read this consent and release and that you fully understand and agree to the terms as described.
